How It All Started
From One Book to Two
Years into raising her family, Gina heard God speak to her plainly during a service at her church outside Los Angeles: "I have called you here for this purpose. I have you right where I want you." Within a year, she met her husband.
Then came the hardest season of her life. Her daughter, Stella, was born thirteen weeks early, weighing just one pound, and doctors prepared Gina for the worst. Stella came home on oxygen and a feeding tube, and slowly, against the odds, grew strong. Today she is healthy and thriving.
When Stella was two, leaving church one Sunday, Gina heard God speak to her again, this time with unmistakable clarity.

Despite twenty years in corporate America and no experience as an author, she went home that day and told her husband she was going to write a book.
Welcome Home was the result: a book born not out of expertise, but out of obedience. That same heart for gathering families around the table kept growing, and this past year it became a second book. Launched September 14, The Welcome Home Kitchen carries the story forward, from the homemaking guide that started it all to a cookbook already in kitchens everywhere.
